I am wondering if the two shocks are interchangeable or not!!! thanks 05 450r and an 01 400ex

The 400 has a 450r swinger on it!!!

I bought a used 04 450r that had a 400ex rear shock on it,so they will interchange.Also, the 400ex shock is a little longer than the 450 shock.
