pump gas or race gas???

Can you guys really tell a difference with running race gas? Again, I'm just trying to get different opinions. I can't decide to get pump or race gas domes with my 310. Any input is helpful.

Choose a dome depending on the type of use your going to be using the engine for.
Bottom to mid range pull, a good hard pull, high compression & race gas to keep the piston cool.
High RPM, mid to low compression & maybe race & pump mixed just to keep the inside clean.
You only realy need race gas if compression is over 190lbs.
