spuddering 440ex question

i have a 2001 400ex with the 440 big bore kit stage 2 hot cam and a trx450 carb and i had my 4 wheeler out on the ice yesterday and when i would crack on it to full throttle it would start spuddering. it didnt sound like the revlimiter but 5th gear pinned it would spudder and bog any thoughts?

Was it only in 5th that quad would spudder and WFO? If so, your jetting is probably too rich.
