That Smokey the Bear add. With the girl comming up to the quad riders saying stop atvs causes sparks that start fires. Well I thought it was pulled but I just saw it on the OutDoor Channel. What gives? I could of swore it was pulled.:ermm:

We should start a group to help defend the ATV name. Start out by suing the people running this ad because all ATV's come with a spark arrestor for trails.

Remember the fire that started out west a few years ago that they said was started by ATVs? Then later on some boy scouts admitted to it. I don't think we ever got an apology for that one..

The DNR in northern Wisconsin were so ignorant to give a group of 5 of us a ticket for "No spark arrestors" when every one of us did (one was even a stock exhaust on a 450r but since they come chrome he assumed it was aftermarket). He didn't believe that any aftermarket slip-on had arrestors and didn't pay any attention to the badge that said USFS Approved.

You definitely should fight it AND win. I've been stopped before but it was just for riding where we thought was a legal trail (had signs and everything..). Never gave us any trouble about our pipes.
