I just can't see it really doing anything unless it was actually inserted into the body. I'd say most things like that are all marketing.

I know a few people that use similar items and they say they work. My mom wears a necklace made out of that stuff around her neck because she pulled muscles in her neck and it helps take away the pain . My doctor also uses the bracelet to help with his arthritis.

I'm contemplating buying one and throwing it around my ankle to see.

If I knew for sure that they'd work I'd buy one for my wrist, wrap one around my shoulder, neck, and lower back. But I just can't see them working. It's probably more of a placebo effect.
