in need of a new frame

I have a 03 400ex and I bent the frame. I cant get the pivot bolt out cause the bolt itself is bent .


according to my local dealer the price for the frame is pretty cheap only 330

50100-HN1-A70ZA

now does anyone know if that new frame will come with a VIN on it ??

and also any suggestions on how i should get the pivot bolt out ??

alot of ppl cut the pivot bolt out. I havent had to do that yet luckily with any of the ones ive done.

If they stick i usually soak everywhere i can get in w/ pb blaster or similar let it set for a day or so spray again. Sometimes takes a cpl days. Usually you can persuade them to come out w/ a little patience. Have someone turn it w/ a ratchet while you tap on it also.


I think the honda replacement frames are blanks so you'd need to use your title if you have one.

i have a 99 and 02
