What's the difference in all 3 of these shocks? Are they all interchangeable with each other? Will 400EX or 450R shocks fit in my 250R without modifications?

the 450s have rezzies. the others dont. I believe that it will work.

I know the 450R shocks have rezzies, I need to know if they are interchangeable.

the 250r/400ex are basically the same. the 450 shocks will fit with small modification to the frame, or shock whatever you want to do. thye will all fit eachother though

I don't want to do any modifications. Direct bolt in is what I'm after. The front shocks are all the same, it's the rear I'm curious about. I'm looking for a used set of custom axis shocks. Trying to find a used set from a 250R is difficult, but if 400EX and 450R will fit, it makes looking for a used set a lot easier.

ohhh got ya, well i think the valving/set up for the shocks would be alittle different on all 3, different weights etc.. but im 99% sure a 400ex aftermarket set of shocks will bolt up to a 250r.

I would think the valving would be different, but not too bad. I would have them revalved for my weight and skill level. If all that was too costly, I would just purchase a new set.

call Colby at C&D Racing. He will tell you the exact differences. He might even have a used set he could set you up with if you don't want to buy new.
