XR engine ticking

I'm getting ready to sell it. Just wondering if it may just need a valve adjustment (Hasn't had one for a long time) Or a new timing chain.. or anything else. Any help is appreciated...

ya they are normally a little noisy like the 400ex i had an xr w/ stock pipe you could hear the motor pretty good.

Id check the valve clearance and cam chain tension just to be on the safe side though.
