View Full Version : 250r Engine In My 450???

I have a 2007 TRX450ER. It's got the HRC kit, ported head, and the usual misc. modifications. The thing runs fantastic....except now the crank bearings are out. I'm tired of this money pit! The starter clutch, the valve adjustment, the fact I can't turn around without seeing an exact replica every time I go riding. Plus, I love the two stroke sound.

Now for the good news.... I have a TRX250r motor with a 310 big bore kit, ported cyl, fmf pipe, all the electronics and wiring, carb,basically everything I need to swap.

What do you guys think? Opinions?

id deff be somthing new...

id go for it... if you dont plan on selling it cuz it would be worth less.. but then again you can sell the 450 motor an get some money..

Wow, that's cool! I just don't like the bug look still. I think the original R is more "normal" looking.
