Do you guys do it on a cold engine or warm ? Also, how much change in psi diffference should I get ?

a warm engine is going to seal better than a cold one no doubt.

but probably only 1-3 lbs. so it really doesnt make that much difference.

Hold the throttle wide open when you do it will have a greater effect
