Does my 400ex sounds ok? please help me asap

I was riding last night on the back roads nothing hard just cruising and I decided to record my 400ex idle and see if it sounds normal to you guys. I hope nothing is wrong it pulls great no hesitation.

Well I hear like a chain moving in the engine (timing belt?) which sound like when you push the pedla backwards on a bike when going down hill. You know that sound? Thats what I heard and thought maybe it was a bad thing.

Just to clarify do you have a aftermarket cam in there? Sounds to me like it ticks alittle louder than it should.

Mine sounds exactly the same. Chances are the timing chain is stretched and/or the tensioner is worn out. A CRF450 chain and new tensioner should run you under $100

A CRF? You mean a dirtbike chain? or did you mean TRX 450r?

Yes a dirt bike chain, any year fits I personally went with a 02 but it dont matter.
