Steering Binding

As I was riding today, I started to notice some squeaking/resistance from my steering.

I don't think it's the bearing at the frame, but seems to be from the upper mount, just below the handlebars. I haven't taken it apart yet, but from the Honda Service Manual, I don't see any bearings or bushing on the top part of the stearing stem.

Is this a simple grease/WD40 fix? Is there anything there that wears?

take the clamp off and slap sme waterproof grease in there...i do that a few times a year... no bearings, just a collar there
