looking for riders in southern illinois

i am looking for people to ride with in and around southern illinois. all of my riding buddies have all gave up the sport. i ride hard and aggressive and love to trail ride fast.

I'm from the metro east (Granite City) and recently purchased a 400EX. I'd be up for a trip to St. Joe or local private property if anyone has some available to ride on.

hey guys......i live in DuQuoin, IL and i ride mostly at leorv near marion. with gas going down i will be going to st joes real soon. i have also been spending time at coyote trails in Coulterville Il . and thats where i will be on sunday 11/30/08.

I ride at LEOHV quite a bit. I live in Vienna which is 20mins south of Marion, let me know and we will meet up one day at LEOHV when I dont have a race.

Easy to do there. People that don't know the place ride by the lake and those are the worst trails. Best thing to do there is stay away from the lake and you will find some nice trails.

Next time yall go PM me and I'll give you the grand tour.

I'm in the same situation, all my friends gave it up too. I usually end up going to turkey bay and ride by myself all of the time, which sucks.

Ya I just leveled my practice track, Im actually moving it to another one of our fields so its gonna be double the size. It should be around 15 acres of track, with my metal fmx ramp on the side setup somewhere :D. Anyone ride fmx? If not once I get the track done in the spring you guys are welcome to come ride the track, just pm me or something.

wow!!! alot of people to ride with!!:eek2: i will get my s**t together and get a ride going! i work what is called a 6/2 schedule, which makes it difficult for weekend rides. but we will get together!! my next weekend off will be during the christmas holidays. we will go then :D

Personally , I dont like Williams Hill. It seems like the trails are more family oriented and slower. The track, if you can even call it a track, is pointless.

if u know anyone who has ground n shawannee thats the best trail riding iv dun around here. if not LBL is good it will teach somone how to place there tires in the rocks or it could be costly.

ill be up for some riding next spring. should have the 450 and the 400 hooked up!

I may be up for a trip to Little Egypt sometime. But yeah, Turkey Bay is my stomping grounds. If you go with the right group of people, its a blast. We have a Mid-South XC race at Little Egypt for anyone that might want to try it out.

Look for people to ride with, I live in Olney, IL. Getting tired of riding alone. I am a totally new to this... So I have alot to learn.

there is a few hand fulls of people on this sight from the olny area. this is a place that everyone calls n*gg*r hill just on the other side of Iuka. good riding ground. used to be 1200 acres but now people throwing beer cans down and distroying his land one of the owners that had around 600 acres had no riding alowed on his land anymore. so if you do go out there be curdious. Somone is alowing you to ride there.

i live 45 mins south of olney in mt.carmel but work in olney. my buddies and i ride at billet. its between lawrenceville and St. Francisville. My boss at work just bought a place in olney and we park there and ride some trails around his place sometimes.

the best riding in illinois is shawnee nation forest!!! around pope co. but its illegal!!! LEOR park is about it man- there is a place in coulterville illinois but thats up around pinkneyville in perry county.
