I proposed Christmas morning. I bought her a pair of women's riding gloves (she always just wore small men's gloves) so I could ask her try them on to see how they fit. I had the ring down inside the glove so it would just slip on her ring finger. Worked like a charm. Have the whole thing on video. :cool:

Christmas day sometime.

I'm not going to do it Christmas morning because I think she already expects it ... we've been looking at rings and marriage destinations for the last little while. So I'll get her to open up all her gifts Christmas morning ( PJs , perfume, Ipod, etc) and I know she'll be a bit disappointed that she didn't get the ring , but she won't say anything to anyone. We're going to be up at my parents cottage spending Christmas with them and my girlfriend's parents , so I'm hoping we get LOTS of snow. I'll gather everyone and get them to all get dressed up and say that we're going outside to walk down to the lake and make a campfire (which my girlfriend wants to do Christmas day) , and when we're down there I'll pop the question. :devil:

I'm hoping for a nice crisp day with lots of snow and lots of sunshine. I'm going to try and get someone to video tape it ... if I can I'll post it up. :cool:
