I have a '89 cylinder and I asked the same question this past weekend to Neil at C-Leigh Racing. He said you can go up to a .140 over which would be a 69.5mm piston. I'm pretty sure you'll get a couple of different answers, (especially by a certain someone), I'm just going on what I was told.

You know whats realy trick.
Say you got this guy out running people bad with a stock TRX jug, nobody can figure out what hes got & everybodys thinking its a big bore, but, he says its not & then one day he opens it up & low & behold its a 71.95mm piston & that jugs never been re-sleeved to a big bore sleeve.
Its not a legal big bore untill the big bore sleeve has been installed, its just an over bore.
