JE 416 12.5:1 with Hotcams #1 Questions...

I just purchased a JE 12.5 - 1 and a Hotcams stage #1

I am really interested to know if anyone has had good or bad experiences with this combo.... I (WAS NOT) going to use a heavy duty rod... I was going to chance the stocker....

Would really appreciate any comments "or cut downs" or suggestions before tear down day...

i dont have a 12.5 or a stage 1 but from what i know you will have a lot of low end power!!

Hotcams are very good i have the stage 2 and love it

The stock rod should be fine. You are going to be really happy with that kit, i got a similar kit but 11:1.

do you all know if I can still run pump gas with a JE 86MM 10.8:1 compression piston , with Hotcam Stage 1

10.8 isnt enough compressio to run race gas...you coud but its not neccasary(sp). I think 11.1 or higher. But you can still run pump gas on 11.1 also
