I have been a member here for several years, and owned 4 or 5 argos, and never have I seen anyone else show pictures or talk about their argo.

These things are fun, they are 6 or 8 wheel drive, steer like a tank, and above all float on water.

Anyways here is a picture of my 2003 Argo Bigfoot 6x6. It has a 72" plow, an outboard motor for added water speed, winch, brush guard, and bilge pump.

my boss has one of those. never got to take it in the water but it was a blast to drive.

Wow.. only an 18hp tractor motor?

I know a lot of them were built with 2 or 3-cylinder snowmobile engines. That were beefed up for more torque and such and geared down.

They do look like a ton of fun.

Yeah in the 70's and 80's the use to race these things on designed courses with obstacles, seems like it would have been fun but they were definately faster back in those days.

Here is a fun little video not me but you can kinda guage what areas they are a little better than quads atleast in my opinion.

I had to put a new engine in one of those at work...IT sucked but that thing was sure fun to drive after.

My friend has one with a 440cc snowmobile engine in it, never got to drive it.

it was in for brakes when you worked their...more rescently it came back for a motor. its gone now he sold it for 6k

haha, very cool video. I just saw one of those on the Raleigh Craigslist a few weeks ago.
