hey guys didn't know where to post this but i have a polaris indy 500 and just got a new track on it. so heres my problem when i let off the gas for like 5 secs and go to give it gas i will bog really bad and the rpms will go down really low. then i will go once the rpms get back up. can somebody please help me?

Possibly a broken reed. A broken reed causes bad throttle response and horrible bog.

where are the reeds located?

the reeds are placed infront of the intake boot that goes to the carb.

I honestly dont know about that but i would check the reeds for sure. If there is a crack in one thats just hurting the performance majorly. Think of it this way well the reeds on a 2 stroke are what the valves and cam are for your 400. If your valves are messed up your losing performance.

Yes, and remember, when you take your reeds out, do not touch them with your fingers (the oils will mess them up if your reeds are fine).. if I where you I'd just replace them anyhow.. there farly cheep.. reeds are 2-stroke valves.

ya i put gas line anti-freeze in it and it worked good but my three back dollie wheels broke right off but i am gonna get the dealership to fix it for free cuz they just put a track on it
