Got a new truck...

I went up to michigan last saturday and got an 01 2500HD. The interior is loaded with heated leather seats, keyless entry and power locks and windows. It has a 6" BDS lift with 35" BFG at's. What do you guys think?

I have a lot of plans for it that I want to do.....I'm not really a big fan of the tires or rims so those will be the first to go.

wow thats nice, its in good shape, it will look alot better with new tires and rims, my uncle got a lift kit and he has wicked small tires it looks gay, i like ures though

Very nice truck:D Just not a fan of the lift. After awhile you get sick of climbing in and jumping out of something that high.

Sharp truck. Agreed on the wheels. In my opinion thats a Reg. Cab dodge or Ford wheel. I know that sounds crazy but i categorize wheels and what style truck they look best on. A 4 door truck being kind of a luxury truck would be best with a bigger more stylish wheel. Especially a chevy

It has the 6.0 vortec and I like it a alot.

I actually am thinking about putting Toyo rough countrys on there, and some black and chrome wheel.

Ever heard of Moto Metals? Sharp lookin wheel, durable and a good price also. I think they would look great on your truck.

Im usually not a chevy fan but these days i like anything american. It looks good, those BFGs are really good tires, i say when they wear down gets some 20s, its a classy truck so keep it classy.

Rockstars are sweet. Just seems like now adays everyone and their mom and dad have 3 sets each.

I like the rockstars too and not many people have them around here. The moto metals are priced nicely though. I think I want something with more of a flat black finish instead of a gloss.

I paid $13,000 for it and it has a little over 100,000 miles.

Yeah you're right but like the guy above me said, not many people around here have them. Actually, I haven't seen a set here. Everybody around here has the Dick Cepek 1's or something like that. I think it's the only rim DC makes. But, damn, I can't even begin to tell you how many of those I've seen.
