It shocks me

I have a lt80 that shocks me when I touch the kill switch and the thumb lever? anybody got a idea?

check for bare wire or a bad ground wire hope it helps have fun;) ;)

You have the wires backwards. The metal part on the kill switch is the ground side. :)

today i checked for bare wires and ground all looked you. Lt80 what wires somebody before me worked on wires they cut most of them off no key or ele start. It has kill switch are they the 2 wires that are crossed?

Comming from the kill switch, there are 2 wires. One ground, the other to the hot wire comming from the motor under the hood.
It's the red/black wire. (white/red is for charging the battery.)
On the end of the tether is the ground wire. (that's the part that's zapping you). Run that to the front fender mounting bolts for a ground.
The other end that has the sliding part is the hot side. Run that wire to the red/black.
I'll bet they are backwards. :)
