You can use any kind of 4 stroke oil, and any kind of grease. Every brand of motorcycles say in the book to use there oil, and grease and fluids. It's just a way to make money.

there is not one best oil. Everyone has different preferences on synthetic/ semi-synthetic or not.
The Epic race team used Spectro the entire season.

The silkolene oil works really well in mine. I normally change it after every race day just to be safe.

If you dont use the BRP oil and you go in for a warranty claim and they see you didnt use XPS oil or whatever its called they would void your warranty

Guess it depends on the dealer but its possible

Were you at Margate this weekend Number 53 ?

Hey all. This is Johnny from Motoworks. Whatever oil you use, make sure it is not a synthetic oil. It will burn the clutches up. Way to slippery.

For the Ds 450 use Shell Rotella T heavy duty motor oil,
SAE 15W-40. Its not expensive and works great.
