Im going to check out this truck tomorrow. Anything I should particularly look at besides the basic stuff. What are your opinions on it too?

CAB CORNERS as far as the body and the 4.3 is a good motor i got 150,000 miles on my 4.3 in my Sonoma so far. if the cab corners are rusty its not a big deal but just try to do something before winter. Also fuel pumps are known to go out on them but you caint tell that till it happens and its easy to do just take the bed off.

the 88-98 series Chevy and GMC truck's are bulletproof and that truck is a great truck, a manual and a v6. That truck if driven properly should be able to reach the high teens to lower 20's for gas mileage. And trust me that 5 speed helps even though its a v6 in a full size its still only a regular cab and 2wd so it would probably be pretty quick also.

I'd buy it as long as it runs good and has a clean history of no major wrecks.:macho

you chevy and GMC guys have to replace your front wheel bearings yet? i just put a little over 80k on my truck and i went for an inspection and my tires would wobble about 4" top to bottom, pretty nuts. It cost me an arm and a leg to get them replaced, but im glad they didnt come off. anyone else have trouble with this?

What year is it? My 3500 Duramax Bearings are pretty much gone. But I cant just replace the bearings I have to buy the whole hub assembly. It's a fortune. My 2500's left front is starting to squeek when I turn so my bearings might be going in that too. Both have about 85k on em.
