what do you do when the tabs that hold the side panels to the front end on a 2002 400ex brake off? does any one have a fix for this ? it stinks because the plastics only a few mounths old !

If you have the tab you could epoxy them back on.

Could also build up some new tabs with some mesh and fiberglass.

I personally have whats called a plastic welder. it basically is a very hot soldering iron that melts plastic and comes with plastics to mold with and stuff. I made new tabs for mine using mesh wire I melted into the stock plastic then melted the supplied plastic into it and drilled a hole. Stronger than original.

all i did was drilled a hole (big enough for a zip tie to fit through) on the red front plastic, then a hole on the black side panel and put the zip tie through them and zip tied it...its not very noticably either...if i had a pic id show u but im at school lol. it holds up pretty good

I did the zip tie fix and its worked great for a couple of years. Just make sure you tighten them up really tight. Enough so there's no play in the tie.
