i bought two 10" memphis subs off one of my buddies and i dont know what watt they are. i am hoping someone on here can help me out here. does anyone know where the # is on these subs so i can just find out that way? on all of my other subs i have had it would tell the watts on the back on the magnet but there is nothing on these memphis subs. i dont really have any info on them because my friend got them as a gift and didnt want them and he dont know much about them becasue he just got them and i bought them. they look like this (http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=2125) sub but insted of the base being red mine is chrome. if anyone can help me out here it would be great! i think i have it narrowed down to being a 400W or a 600W but im still not sure about the voice coil

I'm thinking your refering to an older version of the power reference... I'll see if I can find a picture of them with the chrome basket. Either way memphis claims the rating is 250 rms and 500 peak, typically when I was installing them I'm try to get them in with the power reference 600 watt amp and put 300 to each. They worked very well together.

it acually looks more like the one i posted, with the colored logo. and on the base it dont have the M all around it, it is just kind of oval shaped around it. i cant find any sub that looks like mine. i know at the most these subs are 2 years old so they are pretty new.

someone told me they are Memphis PR Series Subs. Does that sound right to you? they are 400w.
