im wondering if 200k on a motor is alot for a 93 f 150 with the 5.0 in it, it has a newer tranny only 67k on it but if you rebuilt the motor would it be fine?

As long as it doesnt smoke and doesnt burn to much oil, i'd drive it till it started causing problems.

We have a 93 Dodge Ram 150 with 210k on it and it runs like top.:)

body is in good shape just the motor that got the high milage

we had a 95 clubwagon van with the 5.0 and we sold it with 153,000 miles on it.. many of them towing miles, and it drove like it was brand new. many people bring those engines over 300k.

yeah i was looking online in ebay, they have rebuild kits for those motors for 270 bucks with pistons and rings
