I have been racing for a few years, And my brother and i have raced a few nationals. My understanding is in the 13 to 16 class for youth production you are not allowed to go over 300cc on a four stroke bike.
My question is how many national riders in this class are running bikes over the 300cc limit. There is not a stroker kit out there available that is 300cc. We have built a special crank to do a stroker that was 300cc and we couldnt change the bore, and when running it agenst our stock crank with a bigger piston the bikes over all were pretty much equal

How many 330cc bikes are winning races?

no one knows, no one would ever admit that they had a 330 kit, ESPECIALLY if they were winning. plus a 14:1 compression 300 will probably still be almost equal to a 12:1 or 11:1 330

noones running 330s. my friend brett is one of the top riders and i know for a fact he has a legal motor. its just how much money you can have dumped into it, whos building you engine, and what the builder does for you.

noone else has the motor brett has
and noone had the motor that rastrelli had this year. doesnt mean theyre illeagle.

you can't say no body, thats like saying theres no indians left in the U.S population.

plus anyone can buy the motor raterelli had , it was just a stage 2 TC motor.

330 kits are everywhere, you can hear it in the bikes. but no one would ever admit that they had 330 kits.

well not really anyone that matters.

from everything my friends have said rastrellis isnt just a stage two. its totally different from any motor tom built for someone this year. plus tom told me he couldnt build me that motor even if money wasnt an issue.

haha tom told me i could get the same motor, he said its a stage 2 and he adds his little touches to make them faster..but he also wanted 3200 bucks for that motor.

but the 330 kits are used on more bikes than you think, but i wouldn't worry about it, because 330's aren't that fast lol.

the top guys winning the races do not have over the 300cc motors i am almost willing to bet on that, if you have notice the top riders have the money and with that comes the expense to afford top dollar setup's, and i can tell you this tom will not build the same motor for everyone there is the elite few that will get his top of the line work.

when i raced with the 250x i had right around 1500 or more in the head alone

hahaha you cant just hear a 330 kit

and any of the tops guys are legal, mabey some of the slow goons at the back of the pack are illegal

and tom, hes a great guy, really cool, calls me daily to see how im doin!! but hell tell you that you can get the same motor, its not

i ran the nationals well untill i broke my ankle, and rasterallli is fast, its not his motor that makes him win

my solution to this is, everyone should run stock motors haha
