View Full Version : What GT Thunder Link Is This?

I received this link with my lonestar frame, problem is the guy did not know if this was the MX or XC link? Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's an mx linkage.

Thanks for the answer, I put it on my other 400ex with my dual rate elka. The kid said he was pretty sure it was the xc link, thats why I threw it on mine, but after riding it, I doubted him. If you have the xc link I'd be interested in trading you.

could you please measure the linkage? i am just curious how much lower the link hangs compared to stock.

no im pretty sure that its the xc link....got 2 of em myself....would sell one if interested

The first pic is of the xc link, off GT Thunder's website. Notice the slight bend at the end, whre the mx link is straight. The second picture is of the mx link, off a GT Thunder dealer site.

foxhondarider: the link hangs approximately 2 1/2" at its lowest point from the top.

do these need to be used with a gt thunder revalve? i just lost a custom axis dual rate remote reservoir rear on ebay at the last second by $2.50.. :mad:
