My first thread, how special. Took the new shoes out for a ride today. I knew the stock tires were crap, but these swampers hook up like crazy! I also immediately felt how much softer the ride is with the wider tires and smaller wheel diameter. Not to mention the wider offset wheels give the shocks a little less leverage, also softening the ride. Overall it's 2" wider, not TOO bad considering the offset change and the 12.5" wide tires. I'm definitely happy with the setup. Bring on the snow!

The ITP 10's make for a tight fit ... but they work. Hello aftermarket tire market, I've missed you.

How wide is that? I've seen stock and that looks much wider.

I wasn't too happy with mine the wrong (wider) offset.

doughnuts were a lot harder:

I saw that picture of yours a while back, pretty funny. No need for a narrow machine in the dunes though right? So my trailer is 50" wide on the nuts and it still fits, though it rubs a little bit. With the stock tires/wheels I had between 1" and 1.5" space on each side. Somewhere between 2" and 3" wider overall I consider to be acceptable. It's certainly noticeable, but it's worth it. Doughnuts on anything but snow will be difficult, but I'll have a long winter to spin till I puke.

GE4x4 .... I think it's deceiving with the wider tires. This stock picture looks damn wide to begin with don't you think? I hear what you're saying though.

Isnt that about as wide as Cafros (or whoever it is?) machine then with the spacers in the back and the Roll D front Aarms?

I'm having trouble finding the user/machine you're talking about. Can you double check the username and get back to me? Thanks.

Which wheel and offset is that? Specific link would be very nice :) what tires go for the front? I plan on trailriding with some mud, what would be the best tire?

Sorry that's the best link I can get you, but that's how I found them. I did a dealer locator search and ordered them from there. I'm not sure what the offset is, but they're .190, 10x7, 4x144 polished wheels ... like $91 each.

For the front tires, I'm either going for the 23" Maxxis Razr 2's or 22" Pure Sport Bandits.

I like these swampers a lot so far, no drawbacks yet. Other than that they're sure to tear up anyone's yard! As you can see, I'm still waiting for some real snow!
