kicker froze need help

it is a 2005 and the kicker wont go down but it will pop start what will have to be done to fix this is the kicker gears behind the clutch cover or will the cases have to be split

u just need to pull right side case off. take kick and brake off first then ,tap with mallrt around the case and it should pop off easy. there are two dots to line up and then make sure the arm is under the holder plate .
its easy and i didnt even need a new gasket!!!
