I'm posting this for a friend who has a 400ex. He is interested in this Diamond J Widening kit. I figured he'd get the best responses from you guys. Please give the pros/cons, if you own them or did and the what not. Here is the ebay link. Thanks

if you ever wanna hit any jumps at all, steer clear of "widening kits" and"wheel spacers". i wouldnt ever trust either on my quad.
fork out some money for +2 a arms.

thanks for the insight.. Now the hunt for +2 a-arms i can afford...

There's a reason manufactures are trying to mount the a-arms closer to each other, not farther apart;)

I was looking at these as well, but pretty much got talked out of it. DuraBlue makes a kit that lowers and widens it as well. I'm pumped though because I just got my +2 A-Arms shipped to me today......$218 with tax and shipping. www.hydrodynamicsusa.com i3500 A-Arm kit was on scratch and dent, but I lost the link. The link was on here, can't remember where though.

I was like a kid on Christmas morning when i pulled up and saw the box in front of the house. Plus there was a note from the UPS guy:
"I tried to put this by your truck, but your dogs would not let me anywhere near your truck. Gave to lady across the street. Please leave dogs locked in yard if you are expecting any deliveries!"

LOL
I accidentally left my gate open, and my dogs were all good I guess until the guy got close to my F250. My neighbor came and took the box and set it on my front porch!

 Proud of my knucklehead dogs, atleast they know what the important things are!

i along with 3 of my buddies have ordered the hydrodymanic +2 kit...you're saving about 300 bucks getting it over any other "name " brand kit....

on the link you go on the bottom and click on scratch and dent there is NOTHING wrong with them, they are over stocked on 08 parts clearing space for 09 new stuff is all

awesome! :) enjoy the extra width.. i wouldn't trade it for anything! however, an axle will really make you notice it.

That website says "TZ/KFX/DVX 400 2005 and newer ONLY." for the link you sent me. does that mean they are out of 400ex ones, or does one of those match up with the 400ex? mines an 02'.

Ball Joints were not attached. Were yours?

After re-reading what the kit was I saw that its included, but I wasn't expecting the brake lines. I've heard that aftermarket brake lines are a nice addition.

I just back from Beer and Tacos with my buddies and I got to talk a lot of shiite to my brother (dueling 400ex's)!!!!!!

I'm not sure if they have to be pressed in or not. I've got their installation CD next to me right now. I'll watch it the night before I do the swap. I'm assuming that they don't have to be pressed in, that you suck it with the nut, then back the nut off and then torque it down. But I'll have to look at the CD.

I really am pumped about the brake lines! Plus the black A-arms match my black and red '07.....gonna look bad *** when I'm done.

Widening kit = Bump Steer nightmare!

Ever look at the frame on the new KFX450's? There is a reason the a arms are 2" apart! Imagine having them 12" apart....lol
