I'm switching to Flexx bars for next season and was wondering what bend people are running. I've been running Cr Hi bend Renthals but I wouldn't mind changing bends now.

How high are yours? Quad or Quad low? I'm 5'11" but I'm putting a +1 stem in my quad soon so I don't want to go too high.

14 degree quad bend. Love em. Riser on the clamps and turned them backwards a bit and helps the arm pump when sitting down.

I'm running the low bar 14 degree pull back with a 1" riser. I like it alot. I'm 5'10". I think a quad/high bar with a +1" would be too much.

all flexx bars are pretty low so i recommend a taller stem or risers

For mx, I would go with the lower bars. I am almost 6'6" and run it with a +1 stem. I have 2 sets of the ATV bend bars (high) and can't control the quad as well in the air.

you think lower bars i easier to control? i'm the exact opposite in the air or even on the ground i feel so limited because i'm so hunched over with the stock bars. get me some ape hangers so i can do some chin ups while i'm not riding lol

generally speaking, ape hangers lead to people jumping with the front end too high...and it is very hard to get back into position to push the quad down. It is much easier to bring it up than to get it back down...at least for me. It really is a preference thing. I used to like the ape hangers too until I rode a 400ex with some low bars. I felt like I had more control so I took my wife's Flexxbars. :D I will never switch back.

You really shouldn't be hunched over either...your arms should be longer. Of course you should see me on a 450r...looks like a kid's quad.

i had the taller flexx bars on my honda with a stock stem, but when i put them on my yfz with a stock stem they where tooooooo tall. when i would lean in a turn it felt like i could barley hold on.. and i noticed that nose high while jumping with taller bars too. i had to switch to some low bend pro tapers i miss the flexx bars though =[
