390 and 330 Kits

Hey,
I Was Wonderin About Them 250xman Said He Picked Up A 330 Kit From FST For Like 300 Something So I Was Thinking About Buying One The Only Thing I Am Scared Of Reliability I Don't Want To Buy It And Have It For Maybe A Year And Have It Lock Up On Me:huh Any Help From You Guys Would Be Great! Thanks,

i dont kno from expierence but a full blown 330 kit is sopose to be very reliable and extremely fast ... dont kno much about the 390 from fst but if i were to get a big bore i would get prolly get the pro fab 385 with all the titanium stuff and hardened rockers adn all that good stuff to make it somewhat reliable still hopefully it would last for more than a year but who knos...

yea thats the one i was going to get too but they said that you would need to rebuild it about every year. and if i had 1000 bucks around for that i would just get a stroker built. in about another 4 months in gonna tear it down again and im going to get the crank stroked. im wanting about a 450 or somewhere around there.

i never understood exactly what a stroker motor did can someone explain... is it more reliable than just a big bore motor?
