Is it worth it to run no airbox and just a clamp on filter on the carb?

I found this filter conversion kit in my jl atv mag that I got in the mail today and was wondering if it was worth it.

Not really worth it IMO unless you drag race or something like that. More potential to get water and debris slung on the filter. You could run an outerwears on the filter to help that situation but all in all I don't see any benefit in running just the filter.

agreed. i would only do that in a drag racing situation or while racing TT where max horsepower is an absolute must. its not worth the risk in any other environment.
