need help picking a set of tires for my pre-runner(90 f150 with long travel setup). i've decided on BFG's All terrain K/O or the Mickey Thompson baja radial ATZ's. What would you guys suggest. Im not lookin for anything to extreme because this truck is my daily driver.

I would not recommond BF Goodrich tires for anyone, for any
purpose. I had 3 sets of goodrich tires on different trucks when
I bought the trucks, and could not wait to replace them.
The worst tires I ever owned.
Just my .02 worth. Others may not agree.

It's the sexy sidewalls :D But on a serious note, I recently sold a set of the MTZ's and he loves them, and he drives about 30 miles to work each day.

i got bfg all terrains on my dakota. there a little bit noisy. thats if im driving in complete silence. most of the time im jamming to rock so i dont hear them. but i think they are all around a good tire.

dont really got any good pics of the tread.

i just bought a set of all terrain's for my dodge. on this truck, ill always put bfg's on it. the last set i had on there lasted over 80k miles. they were the rugged trail though. i would highly recommened the all terrains. they dont do too bad in the mud either.

BFG's all the way. we've got em on our Z71 and its the best set thats ever been put on there. like the other guy said they can be a lil on the noisy side but thats only if you listen for it. i dont notice it. and they do a pretty dang good job everywhere.

I would highly recommend the BFG All-Terrains. They wear good and ride good. The Mickey ATZ's are also a good choice, but don't expect long road life.

Ive had BFG's on my truck and i loved them and i currently have the mickey t's on them now and ive owned mickeys before and they were great but they were baja belteds so they didnt last as long as i wanted them too so i wasnt expecting these tires to last as long as my bfgs did and i am actually very impressed with them. They have a little more road noise but other than that they have lasted 35000 miles and they still have plenty of tread left. Either tire is a great tire and i would put either one on my truck again. Its just pretty much which brand and looks you like better, you xant go wrong with either.

Thanks,
Mike

MTZs and ATZs are some of the best looking tires out there, IMO

i ran mtz atz bfgat and procomp at and by far the bfgs and procomp were better in the mud and on the trail then the mickey thompsons i had they seemed to cake up bad and road wear was bad on them

i've had BFG A/T on my truck and i now have MTZ's on there and right when these MTZ's wear out, i'm buying another set of BFG's. the MTZ are no good for a daily driver. the BFG handle so much better. i'm not saying i hate my MTZ's.. i LOVE them for looks and muddin, but the BFG will be my next tire again. just my opinion in the tire buisness
