In a test ATV Sport did the damn ball joint nut came off and the thing dropped a lower a-arm at 30mph. lol. Apparently they had a problem with bending ball joint studs big time because of limited travel or something.
The thing still looks like a chest protector, and not a nice chest protector either. lol
The 300cc powervalved motor sounds pretty neat though. Too bad it will have to run the open class where it will be big bore Honda fodder! woohoo :devil

yeah i read that article and the one where it showed 3 of them in the top 10 of PDV. i am almost positive that w-tech fixed that ball joint thing though or it only happend on that one quad and no others.

AndrewRRR, I beleive your thinking of the GasGas Wild HP they tested that had the A-arm drop off. Also they do make an accesory 250cc Power-Valved head for the GasGas ATV. GasGas also has addressed the balljoint problem.

I like it the way it is now.
I believe the a-arms are plenty strong. I dont think a quad would win a euro championship if it broke arms alot.
One problem I could see with it is BENT TIE RODS.
that space in between the frame and spindle is inviting for a tree to just smack in there and bend the tierod, and with enough force bend or rip the arm..
