350x tranny in 250x??

whats the purpose?Is it for stronger gears or different ratios? or both..I seen that some of you are doing it,whats involved if you know...

It gives you a extra gear, but I think you loose reverse.

very cool..Looking into it for a big bore 250x kinda hybrid.
I seen that cycle pro in Glen Gardner,nj does this..Gonna call them to see if any machining is involved..

Aught to look into installing an entire atc350x motor into the 250x. ;) Some minor engine work on top of that and you'll have a beast.

Was a very common hybrid back in the day.

although that would be much easier,my nepfew is limited on cc's for his age class..up to 300cc for a 4 stroke..
