i have a 2006 artic cat that has been sitting up awhile. now it won't idle and the engine seems to have a miss. i change plug and added fuel stablizer with 2 new gallons of fuel but no good. i am asking for a dependable shop to take it to in the spring texas area or a individual who works on the side. thanks

If your ATv has been sitting for while, there is a good chance that your carburator ( if so equipped) may be gummed up with fuel sludge. If your ATV is EFI ( injection) the injectors may be dirty.

Check your Air filter first and follow these steps.

A good carb overhaul may be the solution for now. Otherwise check your wiring also in case rodents may have chewed on it.
Another thing to check is your exaust system for any rodent nests that might affect the output of the exausts.

Start by changing your spark plugs and wiring and see how it performs then you can go into the carb cleaning sequence.
