dominator

I just bought an RPM dominator axle off ebay and it say's -2+1. Do you think this is for a 400 or maybe for a 250r

I just looked on rpm"s website and it lookes like it might b for a 450r. Does anyone know for sure if this will fit. I have a RAD tapered carrier. I was also thinking about an 06 and up 450r swingarm. Does anyone know why you need the carrier and brakes to convert.
