Battery not starting YFZ

I have a 2006 YFZ450. i have not ridin it for over 4 months but the battery is on constant charge. i come to try and start it but the battery just dies after a few seconds.

do i need a new battery if so can you fit it your self.

you can fit them yourself but try charging for a night

what kind of charger do you have? get a battery tender. auto type chargers tend to overcharge (cook) your battery. if it wont hold a charge its done. if you can change your oil you should be able to change your battery. i never did a yfz but i never heard no horror stories about it.
