Ok here is the story,
Me and my friend decided to do this as a small project. We took a 1989 safari 377 engin and slamed it into a 340 olympic twin frame. We put dual carb on it and we are planning to shave the head by 10 though. Obviously every thing wont fit... And we are all done we just g2 figure out what to do about the exhaust pipe. Since the safari is a much larger machine the exaust pops out the side by 1/2 a foot and we need to figure out what we can do about this. My friends dad said make a stinger to go from the header to the bottom of the sled and out. But what I personally believe will happen if we do this is that the engin will pop within a year.. Since I think stingers are ment to have as much flow as possible. Then there is no rome for the pipe or even the pipe from the 340.
I would love to put the stinger on it if the engin would not blow like noting.. It would sound awsome and perhaps preforme not bad.. And this will be a home made stinger...
