if you got a wiseco piston same as stock size would you feel ne power increase:huh

i would think the only way you would feel more power by adding a stock size piston would be if the rings were shot and compression was being lost. the new rings might help in that situation.....

whats the idea behind asking? something wrong?

You will notice a pretty big difference if you go with a high compression piston (I suggest 11:1). All things being equal, the compression ratio is where the power lies, not necessarily who makes the piston. While it's apart, you might as well throw in a cam.

if you go with an aftermarket cam do you have to get hardened rocker arms as well ?

Not if it is a "drop-in Cam". I got a Hotcams stage II and I can't wait to get it in with an 11:1 WISECO 87 mm.

I'm thinking of eventually doing the same, an 11:1 piston and hotcam stage II. Does anyone have the numbers on the gains?

There is a thread with some dyno results but it just turned into a big flame. The first page and then like every third page has some good info. Search for "Back from the dyno" or "dynoedge" and you should find it.
