This was tested on Q16 and C12.... I measured about a 1.4hpdifference between fuel types....

Thanks everyone.

I have two different dyno runs on this build with absolutely no changes but jetting. I will post the second sheet soon...

On Mobile Dyno's dyno, I hit 63 on a 200 main.

Mobile Dyno uses a copper tube inserted up the exhaust for A/F readings that proved to be a bit off from using a wideband sensor(perfect). I didn't make additional pulls on Mobile Dyno's dyno to dial in a perfect A/F since I knew I'd be going to another dyno that used a wideband sensor.

The second test (67hp dyno posted) was jetted perfectly using a wideband in my header on a 190 main.

Since my 500 is now dialed-in on a wideband sensor on a Dynojet dyno, my plan is to make a third test back to Mobile Dyno with perfect jetting to get one/two hp back on an ATV dyno to compare. I expect to get 64-65hp on Mobile Dyno's dyno...

Surprising, not much difference between two dynos though...

Hey Johnny!

Can't wait till we can roost again on the trails...

the 520 can be done, but 100hp can't without the bottle or forced induction....

we've done the force induction part and busted 100hp, but that wasn't so fun.....

anyway,... since you brought up this thread again...

Here's whats up:

within the next couple of weeks I have a new head/cam combo to test... the new head/cam combo will yield another 2hp, without any lost anywhere in the rpm range...

I also have about 4 intakes to test, and a new pipe that has proven to put 2-3hp over DASA...

Plus, I have a new oxy race fuel and something real trick to test...

Oh, BTW: there will be some 60 and 70+hp honda builds showing their faces real soon... :D

hey gary.

I'm still around. I just dont post much anymore here or on the org...

Everything I've mentioned about my upcoming test is still being worked...

I've just produced 2 other 500R's similiar to mine that will be posting their results as validation to my numbers.. All three 500R's, a 450R, and a 565R with my head will be dyno'd on a ATV Dynojet dyno with video posted on my website... we've also got fuel tests, intake testing, custom exhaust testing, and custom secret power enhancing setup too....

I'm clearing two more customers from my bench so they can go racing, then I hope to start my head revision top end so my 500 can join dyno day with the others....

Sometimes, business like this just takes longer than I typically expect... hopefully, it'll all come together and everyone will be ready to test early July.

did you ever find out your base line numbers ??????

chad502ex
07-04-2009, 01:53 PM
Baselines are the same as all the other dynojet dynos. This dynojet Dyno is within a horse or two from other dynojet dynos
