Valves ticking?

I have a 2002 400ex, which i just bought brand new a month ago, whenever I start it cold, the valves tap like crazy, it is completely stock too. I am just wondering if anyone else has this happen to them. It does it every cold start too. I also just got it back from the dealer for my first servicing and they were suppose to adjust them then. Please give me some feedback. thanks.

does it continue to tap after its warm?

It doesn't take much time to check them, mayby 1/2 hr tops.

After it gets warm, it doesnt really persist, just when i'm tryin to get it goin cold.
