i have aways wondered why 94-01 dodge ram never made a 4 door truck ive seen the older ones that are 4 door. i just happen to be browsing eBay when i came across this and thought i was awesome. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-Trucks___Custom-2500-Strech-4-Door-Truck-Diesel-Cummins-24v_W0QQitemZ280284452605QQddnZCarsQ20Q26Q20Trucks QQddiZ2282QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=i tem280284452605&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65%3A7%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1309

anyone see a dodge like this? wonder how much it would cost to make one like this?

I've always like Dodge, and also wondered why they didn't make a crew cab in that body style. I really like the 02 and up Dodges tho :).

pretty sweet ride, i like dodge especially the new challengers and their trucks

ill like them even more when GM owns Dodge and puts that Cummins hooked up to an Allison 6 speed into an all new truck  can you imagine how B.A. of a truck that would be

I don't know about all that 250R.. come on, if its a Cummins it needs a 6 speed manual behind it :)

depends on what you like really, i only like manuals on sports cars or turbo touring type cars, or cars like Subaru wrx

either way if that deal goes down i will be putting in an order for that truck as soon as it becomes available, i really hope it happens

I cant believe it's only 500/1000 on a compound setup. That isn't very much. I also dont think it would make a good towing rig, so that fifth wheel seems kind of useless. They didn't post much about the motor and what's been done. Maybe if they're two small compounds it'd be an OK tower, which would explain the lower power output for a twins setup.

Too bad GM is going outta business 1 yr after January! :blah:

haha

Allison. Their best? Bah! My buddy has had so much trouble then that.. everyone I know. That explains why their loosing 200 bucks for every vechicle they sell! My uncle who is/was so faithful to GM is now talking bad about them! (And he works/ed there!!!!) He only still buys the truck because he gets discounts. Psh.. wanna real truck? Get a Dodge or Ford. Really want a Chevy, go buy one from the 50-80's, thats when they built nice, duable trucks.

allison is a much better tranny than what dodge puts in their heavy duty trucks any day of the week, sure there are better transmissions like Bowler and MTS but the stock Dodge heavy duty tranny is horrible

and i highly doubt GM will go out of business the government will step in, they are already by fronting the $$$ to buy Dodge/Chrysler

and about the 50-80's they were good trucks, but the best truck GM ever built was the 88 thru 98 truck style

i love the "My friend had one and it sucked, i cant elaborate
on what went wrong with it,but they all suck!!!"

Obviously every auto maker will have problems, but c'mon, your telling us that a GM/allison transmisson sucks and if we want a real tuck buy a dodge? HA, there infamous for tranny problems and i think alot of people will agree with me, the only reason id buy anything with a dodge emblem on it is the CUMMINS. You couldn't pay me enough to trade my gas 2500HD for a gas dodge. your truly misinformed.

I guess the Chevy/dodge thing fell threw though!, couldn't get the financing:( I too was waiting for my 2500HD with a cummins and alison, even if that does happen i would guess that ford would try to buy the rest of the cummins share, so you could get a cummins or powerstroke in a ford, then dodge and GM would have duramax's, just speculating though!

Anyway, the dual cab doesnt do much for me, but the 24v cummins does:cool: lol

Fine. Rollie you got me. Just because the one was bad, I can't say they all suck.
