im 150 lbs and have a totally stock rear shock and run about 2 inches. i dont think that the sag is as bi of a deal with a quad than a bike. I didn't feela difference in ride really, but 2 racers said thats what they run.

not a big deal!? Adjusting your sag makes a HUGE differance. maybe not so much on a stock shock. But on any aftermarket shock it makes a differance. Im running about 5-5 1/2 inches of sag. Bbut i also have the LT setup.

On the stock rear shock I think that the sag should be about 3 in difference. And yes it does make a difference.

the reason I hate caps is because its so hard to read when your used to lower case and the letters seem so close together and hard to differentiate(spel?). Not only that but it means your screaming on the internet and/or just using the immiture(spel?) way of getting attention to what you have to say.

I have elka triple rates and I run about 2 inches of sag, You want enough so the wheels still go down on most bumps to keep the tires tracking and keep the chasis as steady as possible but if you have much you could have wasted travel seeing you could have gone through 1/3 of the travel while just have the quad sitting there. Just a tip but on the rear shock it is so much easier to adjust while it is in the air.
