Question about selling an ATV?

Has anyone ever sold an ATV for less than you owe on it? I have mine financed through Kawasaki (HSBC) and owe quite a bit more on it than I can get out of it. I was thinking of selling it but not sure how to go about doing it so as to get the title to the person who buys it.

the only thing i can think is that you would have to make the final payment or else they would have to take up the payments on it
