I just installed the Kenda Knarly XC 21-11-9 rear and Kenda Parker DT 22-7-10 front tires and here is some info for all of you looking to change your tires.

Original tires
Dunlop K391 front 21-7-10, 15.2 lbs with stock rims. (4 Ply Tire)
Dunlop K396 rear 20-10-9, 18.8 lbs with stock rims. (4 Ply Tire)

New tires
Kenda Parker DT front 22-7-10, 15.8 lbs with stock rims. (6 Ply Tire)
Kenda Knarly XC rear 21-11-9, 22.0 lbs with stock rims. (6 Ply Tire)

All tires set at 6 psi for measurements.

The measured circumference and diameter of the tires are as follows
Dunlop front C=66 inches D=21.01
Dunlop rear C=63.5 inches D=20.21
Kenda front C=69.5 inches D=22.12
Kenda rear C=65.5 inches D=21.01

The new larger tires raised the front of the quad approximately 1/2 inch.
The rear was raised by approximately 3/8 of an inch.

The new larger rear tires also is equal to lowering the rear sprocket by 1.5 teeth. My 15/38 sprockets are now equal to a 15/37 to 15/36 combo.
Old tire diameter divided by new tire diameter multiplied by current gear ratio = new gear ratio. 20.21 / 21.01 X 2.53 = 2.43
See chart. (http://www.renthal.com/File/gearing_ratios.asp)

The extra height and taller gearing is exactly what I was looking for since I ride mostly in rocky desert terrain. I will update this with a ride report after my Thanksgiving trip.
Hope this helps someone.

What do you think "otherwise" about the performance of the Kenda tires?

Myself, I don't know if the quad is just this good, or if the stock tires are not that bad for stockers....

Also, how much does a spare set of rims run?

I have the black, but also want the polished.
I'd like to make a set matte aluminum like the frame.

On a side note, how do you like your bumper?

To me, choosing a bumper seems like it might be an issue... finding one that the lights play nicely with... know what I mean?
