We have redesigned our Billet Aluminum Anti-Fade. It is a combination Disc Brake Hub and Locknut all in one. It retails for $220.50. Just wondering what you think! We have also redesigned our locknuts for all other makes.

Do you sell a kit to update the old style hubs or do you have to buy the whole thing.

He's not advertising, he's showin' us a kick *** product ;-) Seriously though, IMHO as a new member I don't mind stuff like this as long as it's not a constant spam barrage. BTW I like it and am going to order one up after the holidays.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind it either, but others have been told not to do it, so why should he be able to?

Whats fair is fair..............sometimes.........I guess.

Wicked:

It keeps your axle bolt from coming loose while riding, which the stockers are known to do. Also, the unit above supposedly pulls the heat away from the brake rotor, hence-anti fade.

The last part is hooey, if you ask me. And as far as keeping the lock nut tight, I've had great success with my $29 Mezzaros Motorsports lock nut. So have boatloads of others.

it seems to be my expierence that once you install or remove the stock axle ....the stock axle nut seems to not want to remain tight. some folks use duct tape or black tape to help keep it secure.

the aftermarket has designed these to help prevent this problem.

i have never had any trouble....but....i saw what can happen when one comes loose while riding....so im just gonna do some PREVENTIVE thinking:p

Sorry, We were not trying to advertise. We have been making a lot of changes to our products latley and since this is an EX site we though we get your opinion on if we are going the right way. If you have suggestions on other parts let us know, after all they are all for you.

The Locknut replaces the stock locknuts and disc brake hub. The Oem units usually only stay tight when they are rusted in place. The anti-fades fix that problem and also look ten times better.

So I shouldn't worry bout it until I decided to change my axle...

all of the service manuals say to use some thread locker on the locknut, i didnt do it when i put mine back on, and it seems no one else does either, so would it stop the nut from coming loose.

Dan the only problem I saw with the old ones, which I have, is that the slot cut into the actual nut wasnt wide enough, the split would come together way before my allen nut got tight. You follow me?
