where is my coolant

i just looked at the coolant in my overflow and it is below the low level i have not rode it in about 1 1/2 monthes and i did start it a couple of weeks ago but i dont know....i checked my oil level in the motor and it was a little high but coolant would float on the oil and run out first right? what i got out was clean gold oil. it does not make any sence but would the rad hold mor coolant cold? also it is not dripping out anywhere at least not onto my garage floor so any suggestions?

You more than likely never had the coolant filled all the way. Add alittle to bring the coolant to the proper level and see what happens.
