Well.. I kind of understand with cars.. but ive always wondered why people do it with trucks? Whats the point of a truck with huge rims? If it were up to me.. beadlocks with some 33" mud meats would be going on. But thats my personal preference.

Anyways, I think the black powdercoat would look cool on them.

You know how aggrevating it is to clean and polish beadlocks?:chinese:

I like the look of aftermarket wheels if they are done well. And if the wheels didn't cost more than the vehicle.

Can't run beadlocks on the street here in Pa... legally. You can run street locks.

On cars I'd be all for a nice set of 18's, maybe even 20's depending on what they looked like, but not for trucks. Has anyone ever tried to price and off road tire for a 20'' rim? You're looking $400+ a tire, but then again most trucks with 20''+ plus rims are grocery getters, so what difference does it make. Now I could see running a 20'' rim with 48'' tires... :eek2: The rims my brother was pricing for his rockwell swap were 20 x 20's. Then we are either going to cut them apart and make beadlocks or possibly run an internal beadlock, not sure yet.

Nice truck though... I guess :ermm:

Im trying to find a pic of my truck, you can see part of it in this pic, these are 20x10s on 37x13.50 mud grapplers. I think it has a pretty good balance of tire and wheel.

just because you have a truck doesnt mean it has to go off road. thats like saying you must have a jeep or a tahoe to go ride in the dunes or take it in the trails...

trucks are very useful...going to home depot to pick up a 4x6 plywood and putting it into a camry doesnt seem like a very good idea now does it? going to circuit city to pick up a 52" plasma and putting it into my camry doesnt seem like a very good idea either...

my truck is maybe used as a truck 1/10 of the time i have it. we have 2 pickups in the family. the dakota is a 95, and it is our work horse, all we do with it really is put wood in the back to bring home.

my truck is used maybe once a week to haul my quad or dirtbike or maybe a few small goods...

whats so bad about having big chrome wheels on a truck? no one really complains about big wheels on a car...18" wheels on a car isn't a big deal, and trucks are double the size, so whats the big deal about 22" wheels...

my moms crossfire has 18" wheels in the front and 19" wheels in the back. her car is probably half the size of my truck, and i could run 22's no problem.

stop hatin on his truck and wheels. nice truck man

I agree with a few posts on here. I don't get the point of big rims on a truck... Even if it is a street truck it looks funny IMO. 18" are the biggest I would put on a truck unless it was a Fabtech 8" or higher lift, then I might go with 20" but the tire's gotta be pretty beefy.

why even own a 4x4 truck if your just going to put rims on it i can understand rims on a truck under 18" maybe 20s if you have a big enough tire

I have 20s and i think it looks pretty awesome. I think big wheels look good. If i was running 40s i would want 22s, but with my 37s i think the 20s look good. Also that white f-150 with the 24s looks good too. Whatever makes you happy. Thats why we mod things, to make them fit our own personalities and likes. Personally i think that anything less than 20 looks like crap on a truck whatever size the tire. So to each there own, IMO big wheels 20+ are where its at.

yes trucks are useful, but personally I just think it looks dumb to have huge *** rims on a truck and low profile tires. If it's a street queen that's fine, but just not my cup of tea. Now I can see running bigger rims due to tire size, but other than that I myself wouldn't. I feel like I'm looking at the dub edition hot wheels or something. Not saying just because you have a truck it should be an avid off road machine. I just leave you with this.... Why?

Looks great I want to get some 20" lightning clone wheels for mine soon.

and for the people saying why put big wheels on a truck. If they are always on the street why does it matter. I sure am not going offroad with 2wd, 3/5 drop and 20s.

the white on white sitting on 24s looks nice....if i was putting street rims on a truck id need 24's at a minimum..26's are where its at.

its not a sticker..I got the negative of a fox head at a local decal shop and after the white was sprayed,we layed it down and painted it metallic silver. That way it's never coming off
